I am taking this class because, I am really not into
social media, in fact I only have an account in few of them and I use them
everyday, I know the importance of the various social media that exist all
across the internet, nowadays you cannot live in a modern society without
social networks, it’s everywhere !
From this class I hope that I will build new skills on
the marketing field, back in my home university I had several classes of
marketing but they barely talked about social media and I felt that something
was missing because social media is so important in 2018 that you can’t neglect
this factor when you’re implementing a marketing strategy.
I know that social media is still a new field for
several companies and in business it’s important to stay close to your
customers. That is why many companies are even creating social media
departments!
I am aware that more and more recruiters are looking
for social media skills, or even your personal social media’s like Facebook or
Linkedin, I want to use the skills that I will learn in this class to have a
better ability to sell myself to companies through social media pages like
facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram…
