Wk7 Virtual communities



Hi everyone,

Today I got myself into 2 Facebook groups : a travel group, because I love travelling, learning new cultures, new languages, new point of view... and also because I travel a lot and I've already been to a lot of places, my second group was naturally an NBA fan group, I'm a huge fan of NBA, I follow it since 2009 !

In my travel group, someone asked a question about the metro pass in London, and I felt like had to answer his question ! Because I love London, I've been there a couple times and it's always great !
I hope my answer will be helpful to hime.


 


In my second group, which is called "let's talk NBA", I posted a question to the other members of the group, I asked them who was going to be, in their opinion, the next Most Valuable Player. To my mind there was two obvious choice, Lebron James or James Harden.








I had tons of answers, and everybody was defending their own favourite player...

What I learned from this Wk 7 assignment, is that groups are really useful, I tend sometimes to underestimate them but now I know that you can find so experts in these groups.

    Hi Momen!

    This is Great! Seems that people will get more responses if anything related to very popular sports and Traveling. I guess I have to find something more exciting that any social media platform provide great AIDA! (Attention, Interest, Desire and Action) as compared to people who are less interested to exchange business information and resources.

Who to follow and why !

I decided to follow 5 people/organizations that will help me build my brand all of them in different ways: - Elon Musk , because he is a great businessman, creator, leader, and motivator! He promotes entrepreneurship and encourages people to start their own businesses. He has a developed innovative spirit and I am sure that his tweets concerning development, creativity and leadership will help me a lot or it will at least galvanize me! - CNN , because it’s news, you have to be aware of what is happening in the world. It would be very hard to build your brand and present it to the world if you’re ignorant on what is happening on the different area of the world.
