Wk 8 assignment !



Hi everyone,

Today I am going to be doing a quick review on my stats on the different social media I’ve been using for this class.

Facebook stats are not really flattering. This account is new, I’ve created it only for this class, and so all my “friends” are mostly stranger that I’ve never seen, obviously, because it’s an online class. The stats on it are not really relevant, I have posted a couple times since the opening of this class.

On my personal blog, I still have pretty much the same stats as 2 weeks ago(Wk6 assignment) the major difference is that a tripled my number of followers… it went from 2 to 7…

I have a personal LinkedIn profile, I find that tool great, you can look for opportunities but also you can inform yourself on various interesting subject thanks to many post you can find there. You can also look at other people’s details so you know more or less what path to follow to end up with the job of your dream!
My LinkedIn is really up to date, I still have to ad and change a few things, I think you should have complete and accurate profile particularly on LinkedIn, it will help you differentiate yourself from other possible candidates for a possible job offer.
I don’t post a lot on my LinkedIn, but I definitely will, because I know it’s importance now! I only have 136 “relations” on LinkedIn,  I will work on creating a good/relevant network, not only friends or random strangers.

Concerning Twitter, I posted 6 times, I have 11 followers and I follow 22 profiles.
I don’t really use Twitter although I know it is a great SMM tool.


To conclude, I think I really that I have to improve my Twitter and Facebook stats knowing that those two are major SMM tools, It is, so far, the only way to bring people to read my blog !

Who to follow and why !

I decided to follow 5 people/organizations that will help me build my brand all of them in different ways: - Elon Musk , because he is a great businessman, creator, leader, and motivator! He promotes entrepreneurship and encourages people to start their own businesses. He has a developed innovative spirit and I am sure that his tweets concerning development, creativity and leadership will help me a lot or it will at least galvanize me! - CNN , because it’s news, you have to be aware of what is happening in the world. It would be very hard to build your brand and present it to the world if you’re ignorant on what is happening on the different area of the world. News can help you opening up to others culture and be more accurate with your targeted market.
