Wk 8 assignment !

Hi everyone, Today I am going to be doing a quick review on my stats on the different social media I’ve been using for this class. Facebook stats are not really flattering. This account is new, I’ve created it only for this class, and so all my “friends” are mostly stranger that I’ve never seen, obviously, because it’s an online class. The stats on it are not really relevant, I have posted a couple times since the opening of this class. On my personal blog, I still have pretty much the same stats as 2 weeks ago(Wk6 assignment) the major difference is that a tripled my number of followers… it went from 2 to 7… I have a personal LinkedIn profile, I find that tool great, you can look for opportunities but also you can inform yourself on various interesting subject thanks to many post you can find there. You can also look at other people’s details so you know more or less what path to follow to end up with the job of your dream! My LinkedIn is really up to date, I st...

Hi everyone, Today I got myself into 2 Facebook groups : a travel group, because I love travelling, learning new cultures, new languages, new point of view... and also because I travel a lot and I've already been to a lot of places, my second group was naturally an NBA fan group, I'm a huge fan of NBA, I follow it since 2009 ! In my travel group, someone asked a question about the metro pass in London, and I felt like had to answer his question ! Because I love London, I've been there a couple times and it's always great ! I hope my answer will be helpful to hime.   In my second group, which is called "let's talk NBA", I posted a question to the other members of the group, I asked them who was going to be, in their opinion, the next Most Valuable Player. To my mind there was two obvious choice, Lebron James or James Harden. I had tons of answers, and everybody was defending their own favourite player... What I learned from this Wk...

Case Study of the week 5

The case study of this week was very interesting because dealt with various subjects, such as the right way to market on Facebook, when is it the best time to post or to send emails depending on your geographic zone, and the social media strategy of a brand like Zapos.  The top 3 of the most important lessons learned from the case study are :  - The fact that there is a specific day and time to share contents in order to reach most of the consumers in the most efficient way. This was very impressive for me, I had no idea that such details like that could have such a big importance ! - The difference between like and  “Talking about this”,  “Talking about this” is the actual number of people who are 'engaged' and interacting with that Facebook Page. The people who actually come back to the page *after* liking the page. This include activities such as comments, likes to a post, shares … by visitors to the page, when a like is simply means that someone clic...
